I would like to think I want to get married, but I'm not sure anymore! I don't want to settle because I've done that all of life. I want to find my best friend, that person who will love me unconditionally no matter what..and I would give him the same. If we never get married I would be ok with that, it depends on the relationship.

Lisa, you'd like to think that you would want to get married or you want to get married? There is a difference between the 2 statements. Believe it or not, that type of indecision is noticed by men. So, when you come across a man that acts the part but doesn't want to assume the role (hubby); maybe it's because he sees these signs
DeleteDuane, indecision because I have seen many marriages fail...but if asked and accepted I am sure I can step into the role (wife) and honor that commitment!

I want a man who is non judgmental, stable in all respects, loving, understanding, family-oriented, & most importantly loyal & someone I can count on no matter what my circumstances in life may entail. Basically everything my father was not.

ReplyDeleteI definitely want to get married & I want a man I can respect, who complements me, understands me, values me, respects me & is man enough to accept me just as I am. It would be awesome if he was family orientated, charming, funny, kind, sexy, confident....am I asking for too much, lol!
ReplyDeleteI want a man that will be my lover and my friend. Someone I can talk to and hang out with. Who puts god, children and me first in his life. (in that order). The relationship will not be perfect because nothing is, but I want him to be that person that will be able to sit down with me and pray with me. Someone to grow old with. I want to get married to my best friend.
ReplyDeleteOk after reading the last few posts... I hear you telling you want that friend that will grow into being your lover then spouse. Yet, yes I said Yet, I keep hearing on a daily basis how you hate being put into that "Friend Zone" come ladies stop confusing us. We do an alright job of that on our own!
